What does this have to do with weddings you may ask? I will tell you! Mary recently decided to lend her talents to designing custom hair pieces and head bands for the world of bridal. She brought some samples by our office to see and the are just so pretty. With intricate beading, needle work and attention to details, these gems would make any bride want to lose the veil and go with these instead! However, we could also see them as a great switch over into the reception when a bride wants to take the veil off. Here are a few pictures I snapped just to share with you! Some of our brides this year are loving bold colors…which totally excites us! These amazing pillows would really punch up our white sofas!

We’ve used this company before for Martha’s Vineyard guest bags, but loved their new size for brides looking to do a smaller bag!

One of our favorite things to hear from a new couple is their engagement story. Grooms these days come up with such fun, romantic ways to propose. To the unknown groom in this case, we applaud your creativity.

Recently Adrienne has been working on a new addition to the Velvet Raptor collection. After much hard work, trial, and error, Adrienne has found a way to letterpress onto her beautiful velvet. She began to create custom cards and invitations from the new designs. She has also teamed up with a top notch calligrapher, Emily Snyder of Queen Quills Calligraphy, to create custom invitations, save the dates, menu cards, etc for her clients. We caught up with Adrienne these past few days while in NYC and she showed us the images from her and Emily’s collaboration.

It. Is. Amazing. I mean really.

This year Holly has a fabulous line-up of events! Did I mention we are all meeting in NYC?? How fun. First, we will head to the offices of the always wonderful Matthew Robbins where Matthew will show us some of this favorite designs and creations from his new book Matthew Robbins Inspired Weddings.

Along with a class led by Tara, the group will also go on a shopping trip through the flower district as well as take a class at the Floral School of NYC!
