As the end of this wedding year comes to a close, we always like to look back on and thank our brides from this year for letting us collaborate with them on their perfect wedding day. Allie (pictured above) married Ryan at a family home on Sea Island, Ga. We can’t wait to share a big post with all of their details when we can, so stay tuned!

Hallie and Mitch married in sweet home ceremony on their family farm outside Lexington, KY.  Another one we can’t wait to share, because it was so pretty!

There have been many modern influences to the age old tradition of bridal portraits. Some brides are opting for boudoir photos, then there was the “trash the dress” craze, but one that we find just lovely is work from a pastel and charcoal artist- Gerry McElroy.  What a special item to have forever-I would love hanging this in my home!

She also does children’s portraiture, which is beyond adorable…
