Being the planners and designers you rarely get to hear the background on the actual couple from us, so I love this week’s aisledash.com blog post. Beth and Graham were the bride and groom for the wedding in Pisgah, Al that we posted the behind the scenes sneak peek for last week.

Tara’s Tidbits

We have a bridal portrait today for our June bride, and I just loved the spring fresh, vibrant look and feel to this bouquet I did for her, so wanted to share!

Well, we are finally back safe and sound from a wildly successful whirlwind wedding tour!  We were at Gorham’s Bluff if Pisgah, AL for a big weekend- Friday bridesmaids’ luncheon, Friday night welcome party, Saturday wedding day brunch, and Saturday wedding and reception.

I love that I get to share these “behind the scenes” shots of the huge tent going up…

We couldn’t remove a tree that was in our way, so we built it into the tent and used it as a focal point in our decor, wait until you see!

Melvin and Jason Robbins (General Manager) from Snyder Event Rentals setting the tent up! don’t worry, they are very safe… look at the views behind them, that was our view from the dinner tables.

I can’t wait until I can share photos, because it was STUNNING- a great unique venue, and a beautiful look to her event.  I can share a sneak peak just of the spectacular views that we had (this is taken with a blackberry, so I apologize for the quality).

Thank you to all of our amazing fun new vendors we worked with on this one, including Maples Weddings Cakes, Epic Motion Video, Gorham’s Bluff, Greene Classic Limo.

Then, Tara and I had to hop a plane down to Palmetto Bluff for a Sunday wedding- whew!  I’m a nervous flyers, so this was hard for me:

Luckily I was so exhausted tired that I wasn’t able to feel any anxiety (than you xanax)… Our ever faithful photographer, Liz Banfield was on board with us shooting both weddings as well, and snapped these for us!

Ahhh, on the ground again:

Check back next week for more from Lee Boren’s Atlanta baby shower…

And to quote from a recent humble and kind mother of the groom- “Keep your mouth shut, your wallet open and wear beige”- Happy Mother’s Day to our MOG’s as well.

Making the Rounds…

We so thrilled about our upcoming spot in the May issue of Southern Living.  Be on the lookout for it on newsstands.  And currently on their website they feature the interiors of lamp designer Barbara Cosgrove, take a peek!

And also a little blast from the past and fun idea for escort card display coming up in the June issue of Brides magazine. Photo courtesy of Liz Banfield.

Tara’s Tidbits

Coming home from Atlanta yesterday, I was actually glad for a moment to be stuck at the airport for once.  I found One Flew South, a sushi restaurant in Concourse E.  The sushi was amazing, and I loved the decor- they took photos of pine trees indigenous to the Georgia forests and screen printed them along the entire back wall!  Gave me lots of ideas for future projects!  If you are ever stuck in Atlanta, it’s worth the train hop over to the E Concourse.

I Want to go to There…
